Sawmill Worker

We are a custom cut sawmill located in Maple Ridge. We need hard working individuals, that can show up every day on time, experience is not necessary but would be a big plus - we are willing to train.
Requirements;
- Have your own transportation
- Be able to read and add fractions on a tape measure.
- Be safety conscious.
- Be able to work out doors in all weather conditions.
- We are looking for long term employees only.
- Mechanical aptitude and or practical knowledge is a plus
- No experience necessary but a knowledge of lumber mills and species of wood is a plus.
Tasks include;
- Operating bobcat and forklifts.
- Running resaw, trimsaw,
- Piling wood on the green chain.
- General mill clean up.
- Log peeling
- Helping out who over and whenever there is help needed.
We are willing to train the right person as a sawyer.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- saw operator: 1 year (preferred)
