**About Us**:
Get ready for an amazing summer experience, where creativity and imagination flourish The STEAM Project is the first and largest STEAM summer camp in York Region. We offer two fantastic camp programs for children and youth ages 4-14 across three locations in Richmond Hill and Markham, where campers from across the GTA can spend their summers building, making, creating, and staying active. At our STEAM and Outdoor Adventure summer camps, campers can develop and hone their skills through creative play, group design challenges, and problem-solving activities.

**Our Locations**:
This position requires a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to commute between our 4 locations in and around Richmond Hill:
The STEAM Project Makerspace (1-561 Edward Avenue in Richmond HIll): Makerspace/Production

Richland Academy (11570 Yonge St): JK - Grade 2, STEAM Camp

Richmond Hill Curling Club (121 Elgin Mills E): Grade 3 - Grade 9, STEAM Camp

Fletcher’s Fields Markham (2743 19th Ave): SK - 8, STEAM Camp & Outdoor Adventure Camp

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for an organized and highly motivated resource manager to join our Summer 2023 camp team. The resource manager is integral to an amazing summer camp experience. They facilitate the production, inventory, ordering and distribution of supplies for hands-on projects and activities for the summer. The resource manager will also have the opportunity to learn how to use digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers and Laser Cutters.
- Post-secondary graduate or nearing the end of their degree/diploma
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Significant experience using spreadsheet software

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing supplies for camp programs
- Maintaining inventory of camp supplies, tools and equipment
- Organizing the distribution of materials, equipment and tools to all camp sites
- Communicating with Program Managers and Directors across all our camp sites to support the material purchasing and distribution needed for camp programming

**Job Requirements**:

- Full weekday availability in Late May to August and select training days in June
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
- High level of proficiency using spreadsheet software (e.g. Google Sheets)

**Considered an Asset**:

- Prior experience with managing a budget and making orders
- Experience in summer camp(s)

**Additional Requirements**:

- Vulnerable Sector Screening Check (upon hire)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $8,000.00-$9,000.00 per year
