The Selkirk Forest District is a large and diverse district, serving a wide variety of clients which includes major licensees, Woodlot owners, First Nations, BC Timber Sales, special interest groups, private landowners, other agencies and the general public. The Corporate Services section is responsible for providing comprehensive front-end information services to provide a point of contact for customers interacting with the district office and BC Timber Sales.

Reporting to a Resource Manager, the Office Services Supervisor provides support to program management and staff and coordinates office administration functions, natural resource authorizations and permitting, human resources, Front Counter BC services, finance, records management, facilities and asset management within the natural resource district or Front Counter BC office.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent
- Experience working in a professional office and customer service environment
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant administrative experience
- Experience leading others

Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following:

- Minimum two (2) years of related supervisory experience which includes leading, coaching and mentoring staff
- Degree or Diploma in business or public administration, communications and/or project management

Willingness Statement
- Must be willing to travel occasionally, for varying lengths of time
