Irrigation Technician

Longawaited Acres/Lach Sod Farms is a family run business operating since 1955. We are the premier mineral sod supplier for Winnipeg & area, serving both the commercial & residential customers.

JOB PROFILE: Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Sod Harvest Operator is responsible for carrying out day to day tasks in the fields.

The job includes but shall not be restricted to:

- Recording Water Usage & General Record Keeping
- Scheduling/Organizing Pivot Movement
- Operating equipment (tractors/forklifts)

On-job training will be provided - this is a unique piece of equipment that requires extensive training.

Hours: 55+ per week

Status: Full Time (shop work available in winter season)

Start: Early-Mid April

Wage is dependent upon experience & qualifications

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
