**Responsibilities**:
**Carpentry**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare and oversee layouts in compliance with building codes, using precise measuring tools.
- Show your craftsmanship as you measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Showcase your skill in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting robust walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware, adding the finishing touches to our quality structures.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in our ongoing projects.

**Site Coordination**:

- Reporting to the senior project manager and project management office
- Assisting in planning, scheduling, and executing project tasks using advanced project management software.
- Coordinating and communicating with team members, subcontractors, and clients through digital channels.
- Monitoring project progress, leveraging technology to track and manage issues that arise.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or construction is preferred.
- Understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using software (e.g. Project Management software, CAD, Google Workspace).
- Basic understanding of construction laws and regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and work on your feet for extended periods.

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
