**The Opportunity**

**Coast Aggregates** is looking for a **Labourer/Equipment Operator** at our Squamish location. We sell top quality construction aggregates, sand, decorative rock and organic top soil throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. As the Labourer/Yard Attendant you will operate a wheel loader to load small vehicles, maintain the Landscape Depot Yard, garden & landscape, deliver materials and assist with product selection. You enjoy dealing with customers, helping out the rest of the team when needed, and working outside in all conditions.

**Responsibilities**

Duties include:

- Loading pickup trucks with a wheel loader
- Maintaining Landscape Depot yard
- Pressure washing, painting, general maintenance, snow clearing
- Maintain company Garden (Weeding, pruning)
- Delivery of landscape depot materials to residential customers
- Assisting customers with product selection
- Performing other relevant duties as required
- Assisting Shop with cleaning

**Qualifications**
- Previous equipment operating experience an asset
- Previous Landscape & Gardening skills an asset
- Must have a class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be able to work with a variety of tools to complete various tasks

This is a Union position within the Collective Agreement of Teamsters Local 213 & Cardinal Concrete Ltd.

**Compensation**:

- Hourly wage: $25-$27
- Paid time off

**Work Location**:Squamish, BC

**Work Hours**:Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
