Childcare Worker

### Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Childcare Provider to join our team. This position would be full-time through the summer months and continue as part-time in September with the possibility of increased hours for subbing. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in their development by providing educational activities and ensuring their well-being.

## Duties:

- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
- Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper hygiene practices and implementing safety protocols
- Provide emotional support to children as needed

## Requirements:

- First aid and CPR
- Criminal records check and child abuse registry check
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
