**The Role**:
Gibbons Whistler is looking for a dedicated **Maintenance Technician** to keep our venues running at their best. This dynamic role spans multiple properties, ensuring our buildings, interiors, exteriors, and grounds are well-maintained and fully operational. No two days are the same—you’ll tackle both general and emergency repairs, helping each venue deliver the best possible experience for our guests. If you have a proactive mindset and enjoy problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general and emergency repairs on all Gibbons Whistler properties.
- Identify and diagnose repair needs in common areas, dwelling units, building exteriors, and grounds.
- Travel between multiple sites within the Whistler area to complete maintenance tasks.
- Complete repairs independently or as part of a team.
- Handle urgent maintenance issues with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Occasionally work flexible hours, including some overtime, as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2 years of experience** in construction or maintenance.
- General maintenance knowledge across multiple areas (you don’t need to be an expert in everything).
- Previous maintenance experience, whether professional or personal.
- Comfortable managing repair tasks solo or working as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Assets (Not Required, But a Plus):

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Formal qualifications in plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry.
