**The Opportunity**:
For our **Arborg, MANITOBA **facility, we are seeking a:
**Material Handler**
- Day Shift Hours 7am-3pm Monday-Friday (Arbrog)
**Responsibilities**:Loading, unloading and moving products and materials to the designated locations in the warehouse and production; and assisting in picking and placing materials orders
- Loading and unloading transfer order materials.
- Effective storage and retrieval of production material requirements.
- Monitor, maintain, and operate equipment and materials in safe and optimum condition.
- Ensures that no product moves from the shipping/receiving area until documentation for all products received or shipped is properly completed.
- Demonstrate the accountabilities under Vidir’s Safety Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs and lead by example.
**Qualifications**:
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience (e.g., performing basic operation such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas safely, etc.)
- Experience working in a team environment
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, manufacturing principles
- Basic computer skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
