Summer Camp Supervisor
Parks, Recreation and Property Management

Applications will be received until Friday February 24, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

Under the general direction of the Supervisor of Recreational Facilities and the technical direction of the Program Coordinator, be responsible for leading a high quality summer camp program, providing children (ages 4-12 years old) the opportunity to improve self esteem, motor skills, social skills and creativity through a variety of arts and physical activities. Ability to coach, lead and direct camp staff in the effective delivery of services.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum three years experience in children’s summer camp environment with some supervisory, program planning and organizational experience preferred. Experience with children with special needs and/or behavioural challenges an asset. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, enthusiasm and positive attitude. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have or willing to obtain Standard First Aid and CPR Certification. High Five Certification is an asset.

**WORK TIME FRAME**: Approximately 14 weeks (May to End of August)

**Remuneration**: $16.15 per hour (under review).
