Junior Purchaser

Out client is looking for a Junior Purchaser to join their amazing team. As a Junior Purchaser you will have a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Duties will include:

- QBs, Create PO’s, receive PO’s update pricing.
- Ensure order confirmation pricing is correct with corresponding accounts/quotes
- Deal with vendors on pricing and/or shipping errors
- Source parts and come up with alternate solutions
- Coordinate all carrier pick-ups.
- Provide material quotes
- Negotiate competitive pricing with vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate surplus sales to other suppliers and/or contractors
- Manage internal folder structures, maintaining CRN’s and MTR’s current in O drive folder
- Prepare small quotations
- Filing field tech’s orders, quote requests, etc

Your skills and experience:

- Previous experience working in an administrative role required
- Knowledge of purchasing processes preffered
- Proficient in using microsoft office suite
- Highly motivated and driven

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 3 years (required)
