Mft/ftp Admin

**Job Title: MFT Admin**

**Location: Montreal, QC**

**Duration:

- FTE**

Designing, installing, configuring and maintaining system software in support of business processing requirements related to MFT Services and automated file transfers using GOANYWHERE.
- Design and Provisioning secure file transfer interfaces using pre-set patterns based on business demand
- Contribute and interact with different IT Positions such as: Project Managers, Solution Architect,
- Solution Integration, Developers and operations command centers.
- Conduct first class verbal and written communications with external Trading Partners as part of
- technical onboarding and troubleshooting sessions.
- Assessing, scheduling and performing upgrades and patches
- Monitoring and tuning the system software to achieve optimum performance levels, efficiency and
- reliability
- Defining and implementing backup schedules and archiving solutions
- Diagnosing and resolving system software problems
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive configuration database/library of all supporting
- documentation including technical designs

**REQUIREMENTS**:
A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a technical support environment. Experience in using GoAnywhere Tool.
Technical knowledge of System Software, recovery techniques, trouble-shooting, performance Monitoring and tuning, operating system utilities and other related tools
Experience with File Transfer protocols (FTP,SFTP,FTPS,FTPES, HTTPS/AS2)
Experience with encryption and TLS v1.1+ standards
Good experience in Midrange (AIX, Linux) concepts, administration and shell scripting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of computer operations and documentation of technical procedures, policies, and standards
Team-oriented with excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Availability for off-hours support rotation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $120,000.00 per year
