As an information security advisor at Desjardins Group Security Office, you will provide advice and support to dedicated clients and partners, and contribute to key intervention and development initiatives in your field.

You act as a resource person and help understand the nature, scope and purpose of initiatives arising from the project office and/or business sectors' operational processes, for example.

You help identify information security risks and make recommendations, and propose solutions and action plans to mitigate them to help protect members, clients and the organization.

You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your field.

Coordination is critical. You interact with stakeholders within the organization who work in a wide range of fields.

You will also take part in working sessions with external and internal partners. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities- Help identify Desjardins Group's information security risks- Propose mitigation measures and action plans to minimize risks for members, clients and the organization- Help assess the design effectiveness and operational efficiency of information security mitigation measures- Align with other security practices (for example, financial crime prevention, fraud prevention, personal information protection)- Help maintain and update the information security risk register- Diagnose issues, gaps, challenges and needs for your line of work to determine target outcomes- Contribute to the reporting process- Help train internal stakeholders, raise awareness and communicate information.

Other working conditions- Workplace : Position located in Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work- Number of jobs available: 1

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in information technology, cybersecurity or other relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.- At least one recognized security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GPEN, OSCP, etc.)- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge- Knowledge of ISO 2700x standards, NIST framework and key compliance frameworks, like PCI-DSS- Familiarity with information security methods and approaches- Knowledge of information security risk management- Advanced proficiency in French- Proficient speaker, advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.
