Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine the extent of damage
- Assess and document vehicle condition, including mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic aspects
- Estimate repair costs and provide accurate appraisals for insurance claims
- Communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, and repair shops regarding appraisal findings
- Negotiate repair costs with repair shops and ensure quality repairs are completed
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the appraisal process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of appraisals

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in auto appraising or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to accurately estimate repair costs and provide detailed appraisals
- Proficient in using computer software for appraisal purposes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**Skills**:

- Sales: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and sell appraisal services
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the appraisal process
- Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive mechanics and repair processes
- Automotive Repair: Knowledge of common automotive repairs and associated costs
- Mechanic: Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to assess vehicle condition
