**_ Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. Office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON_**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Collaborate with research team/ librarian
- Coordinate and participate in project meetings
- Conduct literature searches and reviews
- Extract data from large data sets
- Participate in data analysis and assist with data analysis and summaries of results
- Assist in preparing reports, articles, and presentations
- Maintain a log of all research activities

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s level degree (completed or pending) in a health policy, political science, health science, social science, or behavioural/life science field with relevant post-degree research training preferred
- Demonstrated experience in conducting or reviewing studies with qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis.
- Experience using statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS)
- Experience in research with a record of achievement in scholarly work (presentations, completed research projects in work or senior undergraduate/graduate setting)
- TCPS2 Certification preferred
- Detail-oriented and tolerant of monotony in order to ensure data is checked and consistently accurate
- Results-oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
- Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt readily to change
- Clinical experience (e.g., psychotherapy or clinical assessment) would be considered an asset
- Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values, and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills
