**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible for the assembly of fibre optic rotary joint product, primarily maintaining the supply of lens assemblies, while working in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment. Our team works Monday to Friday single shifts with onsite training provided.

**Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)**:

- Primary duty is for lens assembly;
- Completing and maintaining assembly documentation;
- Assist with the assembly of company products and components including single pass assemblies;
- Packaging company products;
- Reporting of anomalies and issues;
- Other duties as assigned in support of production objectives;
- Fosters an environment that promotes our Company values;
- Encourages continuous improvement through participation.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Good manual dexterity;
- Experience with fibre optics, electrical, mechanical assemblies;
- Keen attention to detail;
- Willingness and ability to learn;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience working within an ISO or other quality system;
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment maintaining focus on work quality & schedule adherence;
- Good interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an assembly technician in a related field;
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
