**Shifts**:Full time and Part time

Located in the City of Lindsay, Bloom Retirement Community is looking for a Receptionist / Concierge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome visitors and maintain cordial relationships with residents, their families and employees;
- Run the front desk in a courteous efficient manner while providing a high level of customer service
- Respond to incoming phone calls in a welcoming manner
- Assist team members in daily and administrative tasks
- Keep the residence directory up to date
- Keep the various registers up to date
- Update the various administrative forms
- Receive, filter and route telephone calls
- Receive and direct incoming and outgoing packages
- Work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents);
The ideal person:

- Previous experience in working with the elderly or in a residential, long term setting (asset)
- Loves interacting with people
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Professional, dynamic, responsible and committed attitude
- Good judgment and priority management
- Good sense of organization
- Adaptability

**Qualifications**:

- Previous clerical experience in a related environment
- Highly organized with ability to multitask in a very busy reception area
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal English skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Available alternating weekends
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook software
- Must be willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check
