Elmira Door & Trim Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time employee that would be cross-trained performing both Delivery Driver, Shipper/Receiver, and Warehouse Staff duties.

Elmira Door & Trim Ltd. is looking for a Delivery Driver / General Labourer to join out team. This position is a full-time position Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and is composted of 70% General Labour (physically demanding heavy lifting, must be able to lift 60lbs), and 70% Driving. KEY AREAS OF RESPONISBILITY: Driving, loading products onto trucks, delivering products, unloading / physical transportation of product, and CUSTOMER SERVICE. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who can work both individually and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery Driver
- Operate and drive vans and light trucks to deliver interior building materials such as doors, trim, and hardware.
- Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.
- Delivery products over established routes.
- Unload materials at delivery sites and place materials in buildings as directed by Warehouse Supervisor, Site Supervisors, or customers.
- Deliver materials and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding the delivery of goods.
- Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems encountered.
- Communicate with the Warehouse.
- Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using provided tools as appropriate. (e.g. dollies, lifts, etc.)
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- General Labour / Customer Service Duties
- Help with customer selections.
- Take orders from customer in person and on the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
- Serve customers that come in to pick up orders and ensure that order is complete and accurate and all necessary information documentation such as job, purchase order # etc, is obtained.
- Prepare/stage material before delivery to meet shipping schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Valid G Driver's License.
- Clean Driver's Abstract.
- 2+ years Delivery Driver experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-motivated.
- First aid, forklift experience, and knowledge of the construction field are all assets.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
