**Purpose of Job**:
The Adjudication Management function is responsible for working with the Retail and Small Business risk adjudication teams (Loan Adjudication Centres & Loan Underwriting Centres) across the Caribbean region. This function is responsible to peform Data Analytics for the adjudication process considering Operations and Credit Risk.

**Responsibilities**:
The Manager, Adjudication Data Analytics C & CA will work closely with the Director Adjudication to ensure that all adjudication teams are aligned in terms of the risk policies and Bank’s Risk Appetite. Key accountabilities include:

- Develop reports using Data Analytics techniques for the adjudication centres to monitor operational KPIs, loan performance and exception management reporting
- Manage analytical inquiries related to executive decisions and conducts root cause analysis of key operational issues, providing guidance and advice towards optimal resolution and mitigation while ensuring a timely and high-quality response.
- Responsible for monitoring the activity of the adjudication teams to provide risk oversight, including providing monthly analysis on early warning indicators, process updates, impact on adjudication from new initiatives or risk policies.
- Participating in key risk initiatives and projects which focus on the key priorities of the Adjudication teams from the data analytics perspective.
- Conducting assessments of the operational activity across the adjudication workflow. It is required that the Manager will provide recommendations for efficiency gains and be responsible for implementing these recommendations leveraging data and analytics.
- Assisting in the preparation of training material and tools for adjudicaiton teams, including communication of changes and updates.
- Working closely with the heads of the adjudication teams and Quality Assurance to identify areas where processes and procedures may need to be developed to improve the overall consistency of credit risk decisions.
- Adherence to lean practices and methodology
- Assist the Director with planning, forecasting, ad hoc requests, research, and strategic projects as they arise
- Responsible for quarterly Cost Allocation Transfer Pricing Expenses for the Adjudication department
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
- Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum bachelor's degree in business, economics, or finance or at least 3 year's working experience in retail banking or risk management
- Strong skills with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS
- Experience on data analytics with a solid grasp of reporting practices and performance measurement tools
- Strong communication skills
- Strategic influencing abilities
- Assertive, and driven to be a change agent
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory
- Experience in Retail & Small Business banking, finance, credit risk are assets
- Spanish is an asset
