Due to increased demand, we are hiring to meet production goals. We are currently seeking a:
**MATERIAL HANDLER**
The position responsibilities include:
- Operate material handling equipment including crane and lift truck to move stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Receive incoming materials / inventory in the system.
- Relieve inventory for manufactured product in the system.
- Prepare customer orders for shipping. This includes boxing, banding, skidding, and packaging orders.
- Prepare and manage documentation associated with shipping and receiving goods for domestic and international shipments.
- Meets or exceeds the production standards for volume and quality of work.
- Shift work is required (days and afternoons).
- Participate in workplace improvement initiatives.

- Experience with inventory management systems in a computerized environment.
- Previous experience or certification using material handling devices including cranes and lift trucks. Must be able to successfully complete the company sponsored lift truck operator and crane slinger course.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving in a Manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with documentation associated with shipping and receiving.
- Ability to use and understand WHMIS symbols and materials
- Formal education to a level consistent with SSGD with good math skills.
- Must work under mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of production procedures and related documentation is an asset.
