Front Desk/cleaner

Position: Front Desk/Cleaner

Job Summary: Support the ongoing operations of the Shorewater Resort in Qualicum Beach including; exceptional hospitality and guest services, manage bookings, check guests in/out, ensure cleanliness of units, etc.

Reports to: Resort Manager

Type of Employment: Part-time or Full-time, permanent, on-site ($20-21/hour depending on experience)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

**CUSTOMER SERVICE**:
Provide high level of customer service in-person, over the phone and online

Check guests in/out

Ensure guest access and enjoyment of common property (ie. maintain laundry, lawn furniture,recycling/garbage collection, winter shoveling/salting, etc.)

**HOUSEKEEPING**:
Attention to detail and cleanliness, cleaning rooms

Washing, drying, folding laundry

Manage common stock and housekeeping supplies

Keeping laundry room and guest laundry clean and well stocked

Watch for maintenance issues

**OFFICE**:
Order items for office/laundry

Support Manager in responsibilities as needed (keeping records, reconciliations, etc.)

**GENERAL**:
Professional with high integrity and ability to learn on the job/handle things as they arise

Familiar with Oceanside area and things to do and see in the area

Comfortable with the Resort site and communicating with multiple stakeholders - guests, long termtenants, owners

QUALIFICATIONS

**EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE**:
2+ years of related experience

Demonstrated customer service and cleaning experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/WORK CONDITIONS

Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Regular work hours to be determined, daytime hours only. Weekend work will be required.

Valid BC Drivers License and access to a personal vehicle required
