**About the position**:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and production areas, and developing strategies to ensure that production targets are met. They will be responsible for coaching, developing and maintaining a safe working environment for employees.

**What you will do**:
- Lead a team of warehouse operators and maintain the warehouse and tank farm.
- Supervise the preparation of mixes and the filling of products into different types of packaging
- Verify the accuracy of orders, items received, inventory and deliveries
- Coordinate shipping tasks
- Perform daily warehouse inspections
- Maintain records, communicate relevant information and prepare all necessary documentation
- Monitor and control inventory items
- Safeguard the health and safety of your team and the working environment by maintaining a safe and clean working environment and ensuring the appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
- Comply with Transportation of Dangerous Goods and WHMIS regulations, as well as other company laws and regulations.
- Ensure that your team complies with company policies and procedures.
- Perform transactional processing in a warehouse management system (SAP).
- Provide training and monitor its effectiveness
- Sort and distribute operational documents
- Perform other tasks as required.
**What you will require**:
- Must have a High School Diploma (HSD) and one to three (1-3) years experience as a supervisor or team leader.
- Must be a team player, reliable, responsible and possess a strong work ethic in a dynamic work environment.
- Must have the spirit of making safety a top priority.
- Must have good analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
- Must be meticulous, alert and detail-oriented.
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office) and SAP skills.
- Previous forklift experience and experience or knowledge of chemicals are considered assets.
- Experience in a union environment is considered an asset.
- Experience and knowledge of TDG and WHMIS is considered a strong asset.
