- **Role Overview**_
The Site Project Manager is responsible supervise the activity on the construction sites on a daily basis and deal directly with the suppliers and sub trades on scheduling your projects. The successful incumbent must be proactive, detail oriented, a problem solver and must take pride in high quality standards. Working as an integral part of the SOLID team, this individual must have a positive attitude and a collaborative approach when working with colleagues and clients. In addition, as our company continues to grow, this individual needs to have the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in changing roles and responsibilities.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Manager all assigned projects including costs controls, planning, scheduling and estimating.
- Work with company controller to manage finances on project.
- Develop sales relationships through solution-based selling.
- Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project’s contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work.
- Establish a detailed schedule for planning/analysis, construction and execution of the project, including procurement, scheduling services and subs, work flow to project completion.
- Manage client relationships with efficient communication, expectations management and promoting trust.
- Write requisitions and purchase orders; follows up with suppliers and expedite deliveries.
- Recommending improvement changes to project as needed.
- Coordinate tasks duties for various trade workers and subcontractors.
- Propose innovate and effective solutions to complex situations.
- Manage change orders as well as change management procedures.
- Review and integrate technological opportunities.
- Provide leadership in safety and quality performance.
- Perform any other job related duties as required by manager.
- _**Desired Skills and Experience**_
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site project management.
- Field Experience an asset.
- Experience in estimating an asset.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills
- Sales experience considered an asset.
- Experience with fertilizer and blending equipment considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, PM software experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- 10-20% travel required.
- Sustained sense of urgency and an appetite for a fast paced work environment is mandatory - we will keep you very busy
- CAN DO attitude and the desire to roll sleeves up and get the job done
- Must be able to legally work in Canada._**What We Offer**:_

Schedule:

- 2 weeks on 1 week off.

Work Location: In person, BHP Jansen Mine site near Leroy, SK.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: $48,321.05-$120,583.87 per year
