_Drinking Water Operator - Small, Ground water system, non-regulated_
**Position Summary**
Aureus Solutions is seeking a part-time **Drinking Water Operator** to join our growing and dynamic team. This position will help operate and perform basic maintenance of a non-municipal, ground water treatment system, as part of a rotational crew. A provincial operating licensing (if applicable) is **not **required for this system.

**Operator Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Functions**:
- Perform daily operations and maintenance in accordance performance needs and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on plant performance
- Perform plant cleaning (regular and semi-annual)
- Identify and take corrective actions to operating problems in the treatment plant
- Basic maintenance on instrumentation, pumps and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
**Work Schedule**:
- Variable and flexible. Plant can be operated with flexibility in mind if required.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of Grade 12 Diploma; or GED
- Related Post-Secondary education in water treatment, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or an instrumentation would be an asset
- Water provincial license (current or expired) would be an asset
- Valid driver license
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally
- Ability to work independently with off-site supervision
- Ability to lift over 20 kgs
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and in a team environment
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
