JOB DESCRIPTION - Coca-Cola Merchandiser (Marystown/Burin Peninsula Area)

Reporting to the Sales Manager of FJ Wadden, the Coca-Cola Merchandiser will be responsible for the sales and merchandising of Coca-Cola beverage products within large and select small format stores in the Marystown area. Additionally, the role will include replenishment of vending machines in the area serviced by Avalon Vending. Working independently, you will be representing F.J. Wadden and Coca-Cola Canada Beverages within your designated area.

JOB SCOPE - DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a list of the responsibilities for the merchandising portion of the role.
- Work closely with store managers to ensure all needs are met in accordance with detailed Coca-Cola merchandising standards.
- Complete customer visits as per designated sales route to detail and process orders, replenish products in shelves, displays and coolers by transporting products between backroom storage area to designated store areas.
- Proper rotation of all products following FIFO policies.
- Follow detailed ad planner to ensure sufficient stock is on hand for peak sales periods.

Avalon Vending Responsibilities.
- Order vending products using iPad from FJ Wadden warehouse.
- Replenish beverage & snack machines in Marystown and surrounding area.
- Develop business relationships with current customers and expand base.
- Collect Money and reconcile sales

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong customer focus, understanding customer needs.
- Customer relationship development.
- Experience working in beverage, retail, and grocery environments an asset.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without day-to-day direction.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle for use during work hours.
- Must be physically able to lift (up to 50lbs), bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
