**Building Systems Technician**

Location: Moncton

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm 37.5 hours/week with on-call rotation

**Responsibilities/ Duties**
- **Supervise Maintenance**: Oversee all preventative maintenance and repairs for Heating, Cooling, Generator, Sprinkler, and Fire Alarm systems in Heritage Buildings.
- **System Operation**: Operate and program Heating and Cooling systems using Delta and pneumatic controls for tenant comfort.
- **Repairs and Installations**: Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs on HVAC systems and perform minor electrical installations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- High school diploma, trades training, and/or certification/licensing
- Sound knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations maintenance
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Bilingual is an asset
- Holds a valid NB driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be capable of obtaining appropriate security clearance

**Description de poste**

**Responsabilités / Fonctions**
- **Supervision de la maintenance**: Superviser toute la maintenance préventive et les réparations des systèmes de chauffage, de climatisation, de générateurs, de sprinkleurs et d'alarme incendie dans les bâtiments.
- **Fonctionnement des systèmes**: Faire fonctionner et programmer les systèmes de chauffage et de climatisation en utilisant des contrôles Delta et pneumatiques pour le confort des locataires.
- **Réparations et installations**: Effectuer des réparations électriques et mécaniques sur les systèmes et réaliser des installations électriques mineures.

**Compétences et qualifications requises**
- Diplôme d'études secondaires / formation professionnelle et/ou certification/licence
- Solide connaissance des processus et pratiques liés à la maintenance des opérations des installations
- Connaissance et compréhension des systèmes HVAC et des systèmes d'automatisation des bâtiments
- Le bilinguisme est un atout
- Détient un permis de conduire valide du Nouveau-Brunswick et un dossier de conduite propre
- Doit être en mesure d'obtenir la vérification de sécurité appropriée
