**General Purpose**

Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and other pharmaceuticals to inpatients, healthcare providers, outpatients and customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Please note that this position is in a hospital setting, so experience with acute care, critical care, and patient service is highly valued.

**Salary**: $18.85-$26.79 per hour
