**Position: Front Desk Agent**

At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Front Desk Agent If you are a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering authentic and unique guest experiences, we want you

**What You Will Do**:

- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, customer-centric service
- Build and maintain inclusive and professional relationships with co-workers that promotes and strengthen a climate of cooperation and respect
- Accurately checking guests in and settling their accounts upon the completion of their stay
- Observe and report any security issues to the General Manager
- Generate extra revenue through the employ of selling strategies and daily up-selling

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in the hospitality industry
- Excellent customer-service mindset and a talent for solving problems effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work as part of a high-performing team
- Enthusiasm, energy and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a top-notch guest experience
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
