**Job Summary**

Check-in patients presenting for their appointment with their health care provider update patients’ demographics accurately handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls. Communicate effectively with doctors and staff via electronic messaging process direct-to-patient payments other roles and duties, as needed, to look after patient, clinic and physician.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Exercise excellent customer service skills work in a team environment communicate verbally and in writing (electronic messaging) with physicians and all team members use initiative work with mínimal supervision be proactive work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure prioritize tasks effective qualifications.

Collect and test urine samples of patients, enter results into EMR in a timely fashion for Physician to evaluate.

Follow up with patients regarding appointments.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Completion of Medical Office Administration diploma an asset

Knowledge of an EMR (electronic medical record) an asset Strong.

Starting position room to grow in our organization

Addiction counseling as asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-30 per week

**Salary**: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
