Ottawa, Canada Living Home Outdoors Full time

We are seeking skilled and motivated landscaping and construction workers to join our team
- Preferably 18 and above.

You will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping and construction projects, including deck and shed installations, outdoor structures, and other building tasks.

On-site location varies: You will either work at our Garden Office or on client sites.

**You do not need to have years of experience to work with us. Determination, willingness to learn, attention to detail and care for your work is what we are looking for.**

**Responsibilities you may have (based on level of experience)**:

- Collaborate with the project and company manager to execute projects according to plans and specifications.
- Assist in the installation and construction of decks, sheds, fences, pergolas, and other outdoor structures.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, such as power tools (drills, sanders, etc.) and saws, ensuring safe and efficient usage.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, stone, and other materials accurately to meet project requirements.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks, including framing, assembling, and finishing wooden structures.
- Carry out landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, planting, weeding, and pruning.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Fast learner, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work alone after being given instructions.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Proven experience in the field, preferably with a focus on outdoor structures, decks, and sheds.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Ability to use equipment and tools associated with landscaping and construction.
- Basic knowledge of woodwork, painting, stone masonry, and other relevant construction materials.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with precision.
- Basic understanding of landscaping principles and practices is a plus.
