Wellings Modular is seeking to hire full-time manufacturing operators with carpentry experience to help build panels for our residential buildings.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ability to use and interpret related computer systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment and cooperate with team members.
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
- Actively participate in problem-solving sessions and continuously identify improvement initiatives.
- Ensure scheduled production quantities, timelines and deadlines are met.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth equipment start-up, operation during shift, changeover, and shut down.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching required.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Machine operation, which includes troubleshooting and quick mechanical fixes.
- Maintain preventive maintenance, safety, and quality control processes and ensure cleanliness standards are met in the work area.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to work the required hours as scheduled.
- Perform tasks required to operate automated equipment and hand and power tools.
- Solid work ethic with good attendance and reliability.
- Strong desire for quality workmanship in a production environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, and a desire to work with hands.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility and on the job site.
- Work safely, ensuring all safety standards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements are met.
- You are a fast learner with strong attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift and overtime as required.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment as an asset.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems.
- Residential construction knowledge and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Strong ability to work in a solutions-oriented environment.
- You will be expected to operate or work near moving machinery.
- Have a valid driver's license.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
