**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraising Coordinator. This part-time role will be crucial in developing community relationships and partnerships, acquiring vital sponsorship funds, and supporting our community events and program operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and nurture relationships with local businesses and community partners to secure sponsorships and donations.
- Assist in planning and executing year-round fundraising initiatives.
- Support community events by helping coordinate sponsorship activities and fundraising efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative fundraising strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of all sponsorship and fundraising activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable and confident in networking, both over the phone and in person.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of non-profit operations and the sports industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic and growing team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic knowledge of fundraising and sponsorship processes is an asset.
