We are hiring Facility Maintenance Technician for our Client, located in Etobicoke

**Position Requirements**

**Responsibilities**
- Complete simple carpentry tasks such as installing and maintaining doors, windows, kitchen cabinetry, and drywall.
- Work with others cooperatively, safely and in a structured and team environment
- Identify and report potential issues to leader and collaborate on relevant solutions.
- Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
- Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety,
- legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production,
- Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Profile**
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience. Trade or vocational school education is an asset
- **5-10** years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments is required.
- Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is an asset
- Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks
- Familiar with general building maintenance, small repairs, and unit renovation work
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Able to communicate effectively with anyone that they may encounter on the job
- Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment with team members and strict GMP practices
- Must be in good physical health to fulfill the requirements of the position
- Must be able and willing to participate in on-call rotation that may include weekends
- Some overtime may be required (as assigned)

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)

Work Location: One location

**Salary**: $19.75 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-06-26
