**Stone Fabricator**

Iconic Stone (formerly Kingston Monuments) has been in business for 23 years serving Kingston and the greater community. Fabricating and installing Granite, Quartz, and Marble. We are seeking to hire a motivated and reliable individual for full-time, permanent employment.
- Fabricating/polishing countertop edges, sides, corner radius, angles, and sink cut-outs.
- Handles large pieces of granite, quartz, and marble.
- Ability to read drawings and templates to complete work required.
- Operate blade or saws to cut slabs of stone to specified dimensions
- Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
- Perform ongoing machine adjustments
- Load and unload machines
- Inform the supervisor/production manager when new tools/equipment is needed.
- Other duties as required

**Assets**
- Experience in stone industry (Experience is not a requirement but an asset, full training can be executed to a highly motivated individual)
- Fork Lift ticket and fork lift experience
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings

**Schedule**

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Successful history in fast paced work environment
- Able to lift upwards of 50 lbs with frequent bending, twisting, and carrying.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kingston, ON K7P 0K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
