**Au sujet de cet emploi**:
Le préposé ou la préposée au service à la clientèle sera responsable d'assurer le service à la clientèle efficace au sein du secteur public en répondant aux demandes de renseignements au sujet des services et programmes offerts par Service Nouvelle-Écosse. Dans le cadre de son travail, cette personne doit notamment offrir des conseils, de l'information et de l'aide au grand public, aux clients internes et aux autres ministères gouvernementaux en expliquant clairement les procédures, les politiques et les exigences de la loi qui sont pertinentes aux programmes gérés par le ministère.

**À votre sujet**:
Quatre années d'expérience en matière de service à la clientèle (en personne ou au téléphone). Une combinaison équivalente de formation et d'expérience peut être acceptée.

La personne choisie doit être en mesure d'offrir un service à la clientèle de qualité par téléphone de façon continue, et de travailler en coopération avec une équipe. La personne doit posséder de bonnes aptitudes à communiquer (à l'oral et à l'écrit) et doit être en mesure de comprendre et d'expliquer les programmes, les politiques, les procédures et les lois du gouvernement. Elle doit être aussi capable de servir les membres du public avec diplomatie et en toute confidentialité. La capacité d'analyser les problèmes et de trouver des solutions tout en travaillant dans un environnement où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide est essentielle.

Une connaissance pratique des programmes, des politiques, des lois et des règlements gérés par Service Nouvelle-Écosse est considérée comme un atout.

La personne choisie offrira des services en français et en anglais (à l'oral et à l'écrit). Il est donc nécessaire d'avoir une bonne maîtrise du français et de l'anglais. Ceux et celles qui réussiront l'entrevue devront se soumettre à un examen des compétences en langue française.

Veuillez noter que les heures d'ouverture du centre de contact sont de 8 h 30 à 16 h 30 du lundi au vendredi.

**About Our Opportunity**:
The Customer Service Representative will focus on providing customer service within the public sector by providing efficient and effective customer service when responding to incoming enquiries regarding programs and services provided by Service Nova Scotia. This involves providing direction, information and assistance to the public, internal customers and other government departments through the detailed explanation of the procedures, policies and legislative requirements of programs administered by the Department.

**About You**:
Four years customer service experience (in person and/or over the telephone) or the equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.

A working knowledge of the programs, policies, acts and regulations administered by Service Nova Scotia is considered an asset.

**Pay Grade**:_ _**CL 18**

**Salary Range**:_ _**$1,675.62 - $1,874.80 Bi-Weekly**
