VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBER RECRUITMENT

The Learning Centre for Georgina offers numerous programs geared towards adults throughout the town of Georgina. Through our Literacy Basic Skills (LBS) and Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) Programs, we provide the support and training required to help residents achieve their life and learning goals.

The LCG is seeking to recruit 4 to 5 new board members meeting one or more of the following priority skills and competencies:

- Human Resources
- Financial Management
- Strategic Planning
- Fundraising / Proposal & Grant Writing
- Social Media Marketing
- Working or affiliated with an agency in the York Region/ Georgina area
- Residents of York Region/ Georgina area
