DelcoLink Logistics, a renowned logistics company, seeks experienced and dependable independent contractor truck drivers for a dedicated route from Toronto, Ontario to Miami, Florida, and back. **Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently transport expensive appliances for commercial buildings from Toronto, ON to various destinations in Florida, and the return journey to Toronto.
- No hand bombing or physical labor involved; no helper required.
- Adhere strictly to all relevant traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the protection and security of the cargo.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to guarantee their roadworthiness.
- Adhere to established delivery schedules, maintain accurate records, and promptly report any issues or delays to the dispatcher.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch, providing timely updates on delivery status.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a valid Class AZ commercial driver's license (CDL) with a pristine driving record.
- Ownership of a full cab truck (2009 or newer) is mandatory for owner-operators.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an owner-operator, preferably in long-haul transportation.
- Proficient knowledge of and strict compliance with all pertinent federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, exhibiting strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Dependable smartphone for effective communication and GPS navigation.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a demonstrated commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.

**Compensation**: As an independent contractor, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive compensation package. The position offers a salary of $9,500 per week, along with a 50% coverage for fuel expenses.
