Carpenter Apprentice

**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced carpenters, gaining hands-on experience in various carpentry tasks and techniques. You will learn essential skills that will prepare you for a successful career in carpentry and construction.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist skilled carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Learn to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Participate in the estimating of materials needed for projects.
- Help with drywall installation, masonry work, and concrete forming as required.
- Assist in assembling various structures, including frames, walls, and roofs.
- Support tile laying and restoration projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety on the job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during construction activities.

**Requirements**:

- A strong interest in carpentry or construction with a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of construction principles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a maintenance person or in related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.28-$25.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
