MASONS - min 3 years experience Full time - Day - 1 Vacancy Start date: As soon as possible

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate an asset.

Specific Skills Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites; Mix, pour and spread materials; Load, unload and transport construction materials; Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades; Direct traffic at or near construction sites; Assist heavy equipment operators Equipment and Machinery Experience Small front end loaders; Sledgehammer; Mortar and concrete mixers; Drills; Concrete saws Chippers; Reciprocating saws; Circular saws; Air guns; Nail guns; Grouting machine; Grinding machine Construction Specialization Industrial, commercial and institutional Weight Handling More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Equipment required; Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles; Safety vest; Gloves; Ear plugs Work Site Environment Dangerous; Outdoors; At heights; Dusty Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity;

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Masonry: 1 year (preferred)
- Brick Mason: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: All over the ottawa area

CARPENTERS

**DUTIES/EXPERIENCE**

**Framer should own**:

- power tools
- air gun nailer
- measuring tools

Framer should be able to:

- Lift walls and haul wood
- Read plans and specs
- Back frame
- Roof Truss
- Sheath
- Measure, cut, nail and do floor joists
- Install floor beams
- Chalk floor
- Frame walls
- All aspects of framing

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Steel toed safety boots, hard hat and tool pouch
- Own transportation
- Punctual
- Ability to work in a team
- Be able to work at heights
- Working at Heights, WHMIS and Fall Protection Course Certification, Basics of supervising, 5-step awareness
