Apprentice Plumber

**Job Overview**

Journeyman - MUST BE ABLE TO READ DRAWINGS & ROUGH IN WITHOUT GUIDANCE.

Apprentice - Must be open minded and willing to learn/work under a journeyman plumber.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Help assemble plumbing components and fixtures according to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools are organized after use.
- Learn welding techniques as required for specific plumbing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic understanding of plumbing concepts is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or maintenance work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor tasks.
- Previous experience in carpentry or HVAC is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
