The diverse needs our of membership pushes our culinary program to execute everything from simple classics to trend setting dishes at the highest level.

Located in the heart of the river valley, this summer will commence with the completion of our brand-new club house. The state-of-the-art facility will allow our program to take an unrelenting approach to excellence. We are searching for individuals that embody the dedication to their craft that aligns with our core value of excellence.

**About the Opportunity**

Along with The Royal Mayfair’s brand new facility, the entire food and beverage program is being built from the ground up. This will allow driven and talented individuals a level playing field in which to succeed. Surrounded by strong leadership and membership that embraces creativity, each team member will be given the opportunity to enhance and showcase their skills.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Being responsible for providing exceptional, consistent, and courteous customer service to the Royal Mayfair members and guests
- Employing a strong understanding of food and beverage menu offerings
- Assisting colleagues throughout service, including opening and closing duties, as well as supporting the flow of service
- Serving and clearing food and beverage by maintaining consistency in service standards
- Understanding of event orders and a familiarity with event set up and service in accordance with event standards
- Ensuring standards for cleanliness and presentation are met for all set ups and food and beverage service
- Setting up the floor while maintaining floor layout, including arrangement of tables, linen, chairs, place setting, buffets and any other guest requirements as required.
- Developing a familiarity with Jonas Point of Sales Software
- Working with all departments of the Royal Mayfair in a positive and professional manner to create the best experience possible for our members

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Serving experience of 1 year (preferred)
- Knowledge of proper service etiquette - Club experience is an asset
- Preferrable environment: experience in casual and fine dining
- An upbeat and positive attitude
- A first-class, professional appearance at all times
- Enjoy working with a team
- Possess high organizational skills, with an attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to meet shift work demands including holidays and weekends is essential

**Required Licenses/ Certificates**:

- Pro-Serve
- Experience with Point-of-Sale software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour
