Our growing company is currently looking to hire
**an Electrical Estimator** to join our
**Estimating team**, based out of our

**As our Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible to**:

- Create, prepare, and coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates for Electrical and Instrumentation construction projects
- Review estimates with internal leaders and externally through client presentations.
- Efficiently manage & control MOC requirements & changes in project scopes
- Procure the materials to manage various electrical projects
- Generate project budgets, manage change orders & close out projects when complete.
- Review specifications and design drawings to determine the total scope of work to be performed, material requirements and associated costs to be included in the final estimate price
- Examine and analyze estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness of work pricing
- Prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of potential sub-contractor bids for projects
- Determine cost recovery strategies
- Maintain files of working documents to be used as backups for estimate figures and maintain current and accurate information on supplier prices, price lists, unit prices and quantity estimates
- Collaborate with other estimators, project managers, procurement managers and contractors to determine costs related to Requests for Information and extra work orders.
- Participate in project kickoff and project closeout meetings

**Qualifications required**:

- Journeyman Electrician.
- 4+ years of Electrical Estimating experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with AccuBid.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, including isometric drawings.
- Ability to think critically and use inductive reasoning
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Completion of Masters or post-secondary program such as Electrical Technologist Diploma, Engineer or equivalent certification would be an asset
