Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work closely with the Water Resources Manager to ensure successful program delivery.
- Work with SAW staff to provide support to various SAW programming, including mapping, analysis, interpretation, and communication.
- Collect, maintain, create, and manage various geospatial datasets and databases.
- Prepare mapping templates, map layouts, figures, and graphics for presentations and reporting purposes.
- Process and analyze geospatial datasets.
- Participate in the facilitation of meetings and prepare and provide presentation material.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders in community engagement.
- Collaborate with government agencies to complete project tasks.
- Assist with other ongoing SAW programming activities where required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3-5 years' experience
- Hydrology understanding and knowledge
- Intermediate GIS Software experience
- Degree in physical geography or environmental science
- Having a reliable vehicle and a Class 5 Driver's License is required for this position.

WORK LOCATION:

- This position will be held at SAW’s head office in Moose Jaw, full time, Monday to Friday
