**Position Summary**

A Seagate Mass Timber Senior Project Manager plays a critical role within the organization, supporting the President and the Operations Team. It is their role to lead the strategic planning of assigned coordinators, managers, and projects, including defining scopes of work and over-arching goals in collaboration with senior management and the preconstruction team, creating work plans, determining the objectives and measurements, determining the budget, resources, and managing stakeholders in collaboration with the operations team.

In addition, this role manages and monitors the assigned projects throughout the implementation stage, including executing the project according to project plan, creating project management records and documentations, monitoring the project progress and financial status of project. This includes proactively managing change throughout the project life cycle. The Senior Project Manager presents and reports the project progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones, and key project metrics to the senior leadership team and provides suggestions and recommendations to the senior leadership team on risk management and project delivery.

**As a Project Manager your key accountabilities will involve**:

- Acts as the leader of the team, taking accountability for the projects overall.
- Works where possible to help educate and mentor PC’s and other PM’s.
- Works directly with the President to assign and support project resources.
- Develops and maintains a respectful and productive relationship with all stakeholders.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of the project.
- Manages cross functional project teams and stakeholders throughout their assigned projects.
- Ensures all team members have read and understood project objectives, including project specifications/ agreements and head contract requirements.
- Lead the handover meeting of newly assigned project(s) with preconstruction and operations group.
- Works in collaboration with the operations team to prepare contracts, requests for proposals (RFP) and tender documents for projects, including terms and conditions, scope of work definition, technical requirements, project specific requirements, and project schedule constraints.
- Maintaining consistency in project documentation for format and content, including editing and proofreading documents.
- Keep the files up to date in the different folders (SharePoint, PlanGrid
- Set up of project in JAMs and SASH w/ project # - In cooperation with accounting.
- Create an information sheet for each project w/ Project name, Number, Location, Type of work (S&I, Supply only, Install), Project description - 2 to 4 sentences, Start dates, durations, overall $ value
