Junior Geologist

**Position Available: Junior Geologist**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct geological sampling, mapping, and logging to support daily production activities.
- Monitor and analyze geological data to ensure consistent ore quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize ore extraction and reduce waste.
- Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying geological factors impacting production performance.
- Provide input on grade control processes to maximize resource recovery.
- Assist with fieldwork, including soil sampling, trenching, and drilling programs.
- Prepare and interpret geological maps, cross-sections and reports.
- Support the evaluation of new resource targets through data analysis and modeling.
- Maintain accurate records of geological data, including sampling logs and analytical results.
- Adhere to all company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to creating a safe work environment.

- Collaborate effectively as a team member, contributing to the overall success of the Geology Team.
- Always act in the best interests of Tanco/Sinomine.
- Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS) is a plus.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related field.
- Experience: entry-level; internship or co-op experience in mining or exploration is an asset.
- Training will be provided by Tanco Geology personnel, ensuring you have the necessary skills to excel in the role.

Pay: From $61,000.00 per year
