Foreman/woman (Yard Manager)

**Job description**

ANS Scrap Metal is currently seeking a **Yard Foreman **to join our team in Greely (Ottawa) Ontario. We are a family owned scrap metal recycling facility, with locations in Kingston and Greely Ontario, We seek a hard-working, dedicated, and safety minded individual to join our team.

The role requires working outside in all weather conditions, with significant walking and moderate physical activity for large parts of the day. Other essential job functions include:

- **Provide leadership in safety and operations on a day-to-day basis**:

- **Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers**:

- **Knowledge in equipment such as, Forklifts, Skid-steers and front end loaders.**:

- **Provide leadership in people development activities such as training, developing and coaching staff**:

- **Serve as a role model; support and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and practices**:

- **Knowledge of non-ferrous metals is an asset**:

- **Computer skills - must be able to learn and operate are purchasing software.**:

- **Must be able to provide a clean CPIC.**:

- **HOURS OF WORK**:Full-time. Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm; Saturday 8am-12pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
