**Position Title**:Maintenance Equipment Utilities Operator

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Help improve safety for staff, contractors, customers and visitors on McCain Carberry
- Provide general grounds-keeping and maintenance services (i.e. snow clearing, grass cutting, etc.)
- Perform general maintenance to external buildings, fences and signs
- Perform routine cleaning duties
- Operates/Maintain various pieces of equipment to perform tasks (i.e. trucks, loaders, tractors, bobcat etc.)
- Provide semi-skilled maintenance services and general assistance to tradespersons
- Operate/Maintain Wellfields not currently operated via SCADA
- Help maintain building exterior (i.e. gopher management, removing snow off of roof, managing ice buildup on down spouts/eaves trough as required etc.)
- Help with Treated Waste Water Disposal responsibilities
- Railway/rail line maintenance activities
- Could be involved in special Maintenance Projects throughout the year, or during the annual shutdowns
- Other duties as assigned

Physical Effort and Requirements
- Lifting weight to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Stair / ladder climbing as required
- Working at heights
- Bending, crouching, grasping
- Visual and manual dexterity
- Standing for extended periods
- Working in heat or cold
- Continuous walking

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with mínimal supervision and is very responsible.
- Must have previous experience operating mobile equipment such as loaders, forklift, tractors, genies or scissor lifts.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team and independently.
- Good computer skills with experience in MS Word and Excel.
- Must be able to maintain accurate record keeping as required per job basis.
- Class 1 driver license would be considered an asset
