Reporting to the **Director, Wine, Spirits, and Beer**, responsibilities for this position include the following:

- Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency
- Participate in the development and implementation of business plans that include growth targets and profitability, as well as develop and implement merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and mínimal loss
- Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and feedback
- Ensure company polices, best practices, training course and certifications are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage and grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and:

- 3-5 years of experience in management in a retail environment, including supervisory experience
- Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, OHS, ordering, receiving, and asset maintenance and management
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, priorities, and execution skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management
- Flexible work schedule evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary
- Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including extensive manual labour
- Experience in the liquor industry retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an asset
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
- You are organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- Must be 19 years of age
- Serve it Right certificate considered an asset however training will be provided to the chosen applicant
- Sommelier experience or training would be considered an asset
