This opportunity is unlike others you will find Dr. Goodenowe's Perpetual Health is based out of California and is making huge strides in the industry. Recently they have expanded to Moose Jaw and are in expansion mode. The facility in Moose Jaw is the first private wellness facility with dedicated recovery programs for aging diseases such as ALS, Alzheimers, Dementia, MS and Parkinsons.

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living space for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Support clients with dementia care and other cognitive impairments by engaging them in meaningful activities.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.

**Skills**
- Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred, particularly with individuals with disabilities or in assisted living settings.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including heavy lifting techniques for safe transfers.
- Familiarity with dementia care strategies to support cognitive function and emotional well-being.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for clients.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 27 per week

Additional pay:
