We are looking for a_**self-motivated **_and _**highly organized**_ **Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic** to join our professional team to provide service and maintenance for a diverse fleet of mobile equipment at a mine site in **Sudbury, ON** (on a 3-year contract basis).

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Serve as an on-site resource to complete requisite, preventative and follow-up maintenance of a diverse mobile fleet.
- Provide 24/7 on-call technical and mechanical support on-site as required (must be available within 1 hour of emergency).
- Complete ad-hoc inspections of rental/contractor equipment.
- Conduct weekly and bi-weekly mechanical maintenance of man lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, excavators, and skid steers.
- Conduct monthly regulated maintenance of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP), forklifts, pallet jacks, excavators, skid steers and rail shunter.
- Provide intermediate maintenance, preventive maintenance, and scheduled, inspections/tests; repair/replace unserviceable parts, assemblies, subassemblies, and components; refinish, fabricate parts, make modifications; repair accessories and auxiliary equipment, and body and structural repair.
- Conduct annually regulated maintenance of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP), forklifts, pallet jacks, excavators, and skid steers.
- Co-ordinate sub-contractors to complete the requirements associated with annual inspections, including but not limited to: NDT Technicians, emissions testing, wash bay attendants.
- Respond to unscheduled mobile maintenance (breakdowns) to start or repair vehicles and equipment that are disabled as directed by the site contact person during regular hours, or as outlined when outside regular hours.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow all company and work-site policies and procedures, and governmental and equipment related safety requirements.
**What You’ll Bring to the Team**
- Qualifications and Requirements:_
- Must be a fully licensed Truck and Coach or Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic (310T or 421A license).
- Must participate in drug and alcohol testing required to enter the work site.
- Valid G driver’s license with satisfactory driver’s abstract.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing various construction equipment such as man lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, excavators, rail shunters and skid steers.
- Must be available to be on-call 24/7 (and able to be on-site within 1 hour for emergency service calls).
- Self-starter and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must have own tools.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, supervisor and colleagues.
